Kelly Shively and AnnMarie Rowlandare excellent Michigan singer songwriters.  The two have been friends ever since the first time they sang together at a festival jam session twenty-five years ago. Separately, they are well-traveled with their music in various duos and as soloists. But they’ve mostly kept the magic that happens when they sing together confined to their living rooms. But magic it is, and you can hear it at Red Sky Stage. Kelly is a multi-instrumentalist from Petoskey.  AnnMarie and her guitar live in Coldwater. Kelly and AnnMarie write and sing about the things they know; love, loss, family, friendship, home, and dirt.

Grand Opening of Ansel Adams exhibit and the Juried Photography exhibit Our National Parks at Crooked Tree Arts Center

CTAC.png

The Ansel Adams exhibition features a collection of forty-seven works by Adams (1902 -1984), about two-thirds of a selection Adams made late in his life to serve as a succinct representation of his life’s work.  He felt these photographs were his best.

“Our National Parks” is a juried photography exhibit in honor of Ansel Adams and the 100th Anniversary of our National Parks.  All photographs are the best outdoor, nature, and landscape photography made within National Park System sites.

Crooked Tree Arts Center will stay open late with free admission for the public.

Ghost Walk

For the past century, Downtown Petoskey has had its fair share of spooky hauntings, Edgar Allan Poe inspired deaths, and mobster dealings. Many of these hauntings have happened repeatedly over the years, and our local historian, Chris Struble, has gathered the facts and the local lore that inspire these stories that tell the history of Petoskey from an otherwordly perspective.

Join us for the first Ghost Walk of the season during Summer Open House! Please meet on the steps of the Stafford's Perry Hotel at 8 pm. The walk is one hour long and primarily outside, so make sure to dress for the weather!
